acquisitions mulled by Banco Santander Colombian Unit

In some sort of an attempt to try to boost its own growth within the country, the Columbian unit of Spain's Banco Santander SA, STD, SAN.MC, is currently evaluating the possibility of them having to acquire a few local firms in order to do so.

This statement was undoubtedly made by the bank's top official in the country, on Thursday. Roman Blanco said during an address that a major priority is what Colombia is. This man, Roman Blanco, is better known as the chief executive of the Banco Santander SA's local unit.
