A volcanic eruption in Colombia has eased enough to allow local airport Antonio Narino to reopen, but the evacuation is still ongoing and thousands of people are staying clear of Galeras Volcano, Colombia's most active volcano, as more volcanic activities are feared.

Drug Lord pleaded guilty to 45-year sentence

Diego "Don Diego" Montoya, who led the Norte del Valle cartel for fourteen years beginning 1990, had pleaded guilty on charges of conspiracy on importing cocaine and obstruction of justice. Judge Cecilia Altonaga approves the 45-year sentence requested by the prosecution.
