It is a shame that a country's beauty is overshadowed by negative news that continues to cripple the tourism and the global impression of such country. Bordered by both the Caribbean and Pacific, it is a shame that Colombia has been suffering from a bad image set by the rebels in the rural regions, when in fact it is perfectly safe where tourists are in.Now, the Colombian government is aggressively doing its job to change the country's image positively. At least 50 people were left injured and one dead after a violent riot between Colomiban protesters and riot policemen in southwest Colombia the other day.The protesters started the rallies as opposition to the market system being implemented in Colombia. Asset in U.S. of eight alleged members of Revolutionary Armed Forces fo Columbia (known as FARC in its Spanish acronym) was frozen by the U.S. Treasury Department.International Commission members of FARC is comprised of eight Columbian leftist rebels who provide material support to nacro-terrorist organizations in South American countries like Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela, Panama, Mexico and Canada.
