PolyOne's share of Columbia JV was bought over by Mexichem

PolyOne's share of Columbia JV has recently been bought over by Mexichem SAB de CV. It was about thirteen and a half million dollars that was paid in cash for the stake in Cartanega, which is a Columbia based vinyl compounder.
Under Mexichem's ownership, the company shall be renamed under Mexichem. Throughout the entire Latin American region, this company is a major producer of vinyl.
This is all in an effort to benefit everyone as both Mexichem as well as Geon Performance Polymers would both experience purely positive results from this particular venture.
