Students at the Santa Maria el Rio Primary school in Colombia will be the one of the two schools that will serve pilot for the XO laptop with New Windows version of One Laptop Per Child (OCPL) programs. Peru was the first country to sign up for the Windows - on - XO option.
OCPL started as Linux only affair but it got a lot of feedback concerning about a Window OS running into it. OCPL hopes that in the future they could create a version that can either boot a Windows or Linux so the other OS doesn't get compromised.
